The Friends’ Hospice is an independent registered charity serving the
population of Paphos and its surrounding districts. It opened its
doors in April 2006 with two beds, and has since cared for more than
425 patients, over half of whom were Cypriots, the remaining being British and other nationalities.
Our Hospice has, since July 2007, its own wing in The Evangelismos Hospital, where, at the moment, we have four beds, with occupancy running at around 70%. The number of beds is directly related to the cost and availabilithy of the specialist nursing staff which are required to provide the 24/7 palliative care.
Ruth Marsh (RGN), Our very experienced Hospice Clinical Manager. From many years working in the local community she understands Cyprus culture and speaks Greek.

Our Team, Nurse Subiya and Nurse Lynn Pitt, two of our team of dedicated trained nurses who provide efficient and compassionate nursing to our patients.
Shops Manager,
